Title: Intro help?
Post by: clawstrider on July 01, 2011, 08:27:45 pm
At my school, as it is the end of the last term of the last year for my year, my yeargroup is making advert/films.

Now, to get the the point, I was wondering if anybody could help me with an intro to this film.

The film we are making is a re-enactment of several Darwin Award (http://www.darwinawards.com/). A Darwin Award is an award devoted to people who have either lost their life, or their ability to reproduce by doing something very stupid.

I had the idea that we could animate one of the scenes for an intro, with stickmen or whatever is simplest, with a title above which says Darwin Awards above it.

I don't know how easy that is, but if somebody could help, thats much appreciated.
Thanks :D

You can use cinema 4d and all you would need for the stick man was draw the stick man in paint and then make I few drawings of him as if he's moving the go online and type gif creator and then save the gif pic afterwards and import to cinema 4d and make the intro from there
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tell me if it helps
Unfortunately, I don't earn £1500 a week for pocket money, and you can either be caught out by police or viruses on torrent.
If your happy to do it, then that's great! If not, I can experiment with Spikey's idea.
Thanks
Don't.
And about the stickman problem, Pivot Stickman is free and great, like Spikey said, I suggest you to download it.
3rd of all, I have already said I don't really want to be torrenting stuff.
I have been looking at reviews/screenies/animations made by/etc. pivot, and although I really like the way it animates the figures, is it easy to animate other stuff? Like background or effects.
My question is, why are you trying to animate with no prior animation experience?
Thats exactly why I made this topic ;) Read the second word, help ... I need help as I have never done anything like this before.
As to why I am trying to make this, I belive it would make our video stand out x100 more than any others, as nobody is even attempting something like this.
I have used it a long time ago,and it isn't easy at all to make backgrounds or effects,since you have to draw them all by yourself.
Haha, its just a end of school fun activity, I won't fail, and I still got 2 weeks ;) . If it's as hard as Captain says (I really can't draw) then I may not be able to do at all...
