Title: Starting server

Does anyone know if its possible to have a server on the aether mod? and if not I will start a survival one. The server wont be cracked so dont even bring up cracked server. I would like to have two other people on the server as well. but i just need a link on "how to" start a server.

Mmmhm, thats actually a nice idea. I may try that to ;) But starting a server, do you mean to go for a paid for or home hosted one?
Edit: It is not possible (At this date) to have a SMP with Aether Mod and the creators have not announced that they are making it SMP compatible.

Its pretty much impossible for now to get mods that add blocks/textures/mobs into smp, because everyone has to download the mod for it to work even badly, but i've seen the aether, it looks pretty cool. there's also plugins for bukkit that add the dreamworld, so there is that :P
also, about actually starting the server, i would use bukkit, there's good tutorials on its forums
