!0 years ago: 2,997 people died. 411 people risked their lives to save others. 246 people left on an airplane and never got to see home again. At least 200 people jumped or fell to their deaths. 2 beautiful buildings were destroyed. 2,997 innocent people left their homes one day and never got to see their families again. R.I.P. All of you.

Ten years ago, today, members of Al Queda hijacked four planes. Two of these planes crashed into each twin tower at the world trade center, and one was crashed into the pentagon. The fourth plane, Flight 93, which was intended for either The Capitol Building, or The White House(never confirmed), was brought down in a field in Pennsylvania. The passengers on this plane took action against the hijackers, causing the crash. The actions of those passengers saved the lives of many others. Many died on this sad day, so take a moment to remember and to honor the deceased, as well as the heroes of 9/11/01
May they rest in peace.

many innocent people died one of them could have been my aunt :'(

True, never forget those who died. Some of the people were heroes, and I believe the white house AND the congress building was saved because a couple of the planes were taken down by the very people on the plane, therefore saving alot of people.

9/11:
Terrorists: 18 people, 20 dollars worth of Kitchen Knifes
USA lost: 3000 people, 4 multi-million passenger planes, 2 multi billion world class buildings, and a chunk of the pentagon, and probably a few billion more in Afghanistan.
SEAL-6 Incident:
Terrorists: 20$ RPG warhead.
USA lost: 30 elite SEAL-6 members, a multibillion chinkook helicopter.
herp. I think the US got the bad end of the deal.

I was 5 1/2 years old when it happened...
History is always made. We shall not forget.
This is the picture of all 2958 (2977 in total if you count the hijackers, which aren't pictured) people that died in those attacks.
