Hi, Me and Terrewee recently found a large amount of water in the Nether, located just a short walk from Terrewee's Nether Town/City.
As soon as I saw the water, I realised something was wrong as water is not able to be placed by players in the nether...
Not only is there water in the Nether, there is a lot of it...

Another feature I spotted was that the area's around the water was very flat edged/sided, and I think that it looks like a cuboid/world edit command.
What should be done...

Respect to whoever did that.

Blame bukkit.

This could have been placed by members, ill try to get on and see if i can find some block history (you rarely can get block history from water) I am 100% sure this was NOT done by worldedit.

The only way to get water --> nether is with world edit or ice.

I was unaware of that. This is an interesting situation then.

Blame bukkit. Although I didn't see it in the 1.0 release, maybe it's a bug in the 1.1 release? as the rb isn't out.

My money would be on bukkits fault, it seems to be spawning parts of mainworld chunks in the nether. They are too detailed and random for someone to have put them there.
