I was thinking that opticraft should do a role play thing for a period of time. It would be similar to what the yogscast did, but awesomer. Of course, the normal server would have to be shut down or a new world would have to be created for the RP. I think its a good idea, but please send me info. Thanks!

We are not the Yogscast, nor a youtube channel with money to buy many smp accounts for all the names. Also, people, such as myself, can't always get on at certain times. I just don't think this is possible.

Yes, i understand, that it would be extremly hard to do this. But, is it possible to make names appear differently? (opti i hope you will look into this) And if we created a channel, with awesome videos, we would possibly get more money for opticraft. If this really will not work, im sorry for wasting people's time.

Nothing is a waste of time, this is a good idea, but I really dont think this will pass.

Yogscast is cool and so is RP!
But I don't think it could work, would need heaps more staff.
Opti could probably code something up for ai for villagers and other npc type stuff. But that's not the direction he wants to go.

Our main goal is not money.
our main goal is entertainment. This would allow for others to come on opticraft. I still support this idea, even though it is contreversual. It would be fun the players and the people who watch it.

I don't see this happening. this is a free build server. And I don't think that another server just for the RP would be created. Just too much coding and stuff for Optic. But it isn't a bad idea at all. Also we are kind of struggling for staff on the classic due to the SMP recently being updated. So Staff is a small issue that needs tending to. But it is slowly getting better.
