Getting a "Disconnected from server" error each time I try to connect to the server, does anyone know why?

This may seem like a stupid question, but have you updated to 1.2? Because the server was recently updated.
How long is it taking you to sign in before you get the error?

Well I updated, after the 'go' was given, got on the server, on and off every 2 minutes or so (was messing around with the texture packs & got a new skin)

then about 15 minutes later, I tried to get on and after the "connecting" phase, I got a "Disconnected from the server"

So, It was working for a while, then It didn't.
