i dont like this dont know wy i am band and there is already a new house on the place of my house i saw >:(

Since part of that 1000 was your own home I can lower the ban to 7 days but if I catch you again it will be permanent.

nothing against this Xeadin, but a serious question for future reference, does a SMP offense such as this warrent a Classic punishment, I can see why it would seeing his a builder and should know better. But it wasnt on the classic server. Serious question.

Post by: officiersmirnof on March 09, 2012, 08:47:54 am: i am sure i didnt grief but i am going for op and this would be bad for the app and i get now wy i am band but i aint gonna play smp very much annymore but i hope this won't affect my classic status and app and i indeed repaird games house but the thing you could have seen as grief is a giant sort of hole under his house that was there because i had a cactus farm there but i realy hope thus wont affect my classic status

I've stopped incase the SMP mods get angry at me for meddling or w/e :/

I believe Xeadin said this because officiersmirnof has been banned on Classic in the past.

Post by: Mr_Mr_Mr on March 09, 2012, 10:05:22 pm: Griefing is modifying another players work without permission. You cannot grief your own house, it is simply just taking down blocks you placed.

Also, don't get mad at me for telling you how to do your job, but make sure you know who griefed who before you undo someones actions so you don't undo someone that helped build or built the building.

That is, indeed, correct. This counts as a second ban for him for the offense of grief.

Trusted privileges are suspended for officiersmirnof until it can be properly redeemed.

Post by: Nefroz on March 10, 2012, 01:35:32 am: just to let you know, I was going to lower this ban, at first but after seeing gameguy post about how you were helping him it kinda pissed me off, I'll tell you why, When I went to fix this grief he mentioned that his house had been griefed. Routine stuff fixed the grief, notice 1000 blocks changed on the same day of that grief, undid them, and parts of another house came back. I investigated the other house and gameguy told me that it belonged to his friend that had quit.

I told him well the guy that built the house was the one that had griefed his home and he was completely surprised. There was no mention of him being told to help gameguy with his house, and most of the grief in gameguys house was grief, it didn't look like someone was helping remodel, things were stolen glass was just torn out of rooms ect ect.

Now I come to the banappeals and gameguys saying that he was helping him remodel, I asked him this when the grief happened I got a no. I feel officier is getting gameguy to lie for him. So I will not be lowering this ban, because I really hate being lied too.

and he did not remodel, he needed some stone and i was digging my house out, and the glass... he replaced it once

and seriously... i was a classic op so i believe i wouldn't do such things. if u dont believe me, ask any classic op
