Title: IRC?

As long as I have been on the Server I havent been aware that the SMP Server doesnt have an IRC...This would be good for people who are unable to play on the Server or talk on Mumble because they are at school and etc...

However, :-\ as much as it would be good having IRC I feel that some people will miss-use it as they may spam the chat bar and greatly annoy the people of the Server.

It is just a suggestion being that the Classic Server has an IRC but the SMP Server doesnt...

No problem.
Also, if you don't have an IRC program, just go to qchat.rizon.net, and enter the channel name there (use your minecraft name as your nickname to avoid confusion).
If you do have an IRC program (such as mIRC), then the server address will be irc.rizon.net (same channel name).

IRC is an internet relay chat. It is a chat box that allows you to chat to other people. What we do, is we connect a bot to the irc channel and the bot lets us see what people are seeing ingame and it makes it so they can see what we say on the irc channel.

Since we don't have an IRC plugin for the SMP server yet, it has pretty much left us blind in one eye.

Yes, for some people, sittin' idle is not really a viable option...

World of Minecraft, which is a downloadable client for Classic Minecraft. It allows you to fly (much better than the /fly command) and take screenshots very easily. You can download it from http://www.worldofminecraft.com/.
