Title: Can't pick up drops

I was afk in my house. When I came back, I was dead, and I figure it was a monster. So, I come back to get my drops, but they are vibrating and I can't pick them up. Any idea why? Nate

This usually occurs when a creeper explodes and kills you.
The items you see glitching on the floor can not be picked up, as they are the items that have been destroyed in the creeper blast. It's just a glitch, and I'm afraid your items are gone forever.

Damn bug.. I lost a medium protection stone one hour ago with the same way..
Damn creeper.. I became crazy..

Ya same thing happened to me, I had a stack of gold and three stacks of coal coming out of a mine and then... boom. Creeper got me and when I went back for my stuff everything was gone except for a couple torches and my shovel.
