I think some mods like the shelves mod. It doesn't give a advantage but it would help out shop owners.

I believe that is called showcase. It is currently not updated yet. But It is a decent plugin. You can't sell things with it though. Only buy and show off your items.

I know what mod he is talking about. It is client based so it wouldn't work on here. As Yomo said, there is a plugin that lets you do this as well.

well is this already implemented I am a co-owner of a small town shop and I constantly have people asking what we have.
If they could just look and see it would help a lot.

Showcase has been disabled for quite a while now because of an exploit that bypassed the buying and selling of market items. This may not be implemented again due to this exploit.

I'm against adding multiple mods, except for Iconomy or something :P

It was removed because I found out how to dupe with it.

does that mod let items float and you cant pick them up ?X ???

no its like chests but the items are arranged on steps and are visible
