Title: Max Connections for your IP reached
Post by: Cora on April 10, 2012, 11:59:27 pm
I am trying to log in right now and it came up with this - I'm wondering what that's about!???

It means that we have a cap of how many players can connect to the server from one IP or location at a time. If you're in a public hotspot, you might want to wait a few minutes before someone drops out-- if you have friends playing at the same time as well, make sure that a couple of your 'friends' aren't gonna get themselves into trouble ;)

I'm not 100% sure but I have heard that restarting your modem can help with this issue.

It could also be what Xeadin said.

Thanks for the quick response Xeadin (sp?) lol... Anyways I'm on a private (password protected) wireless connection between myself and my husband (codepmman), and we play quite frequently together, and this is the first time this has occurred.

Also I should add, that I was disconnected from the server several times today and would just reconnect - I'm wondering if something might have been "saved" thus creating the max logins for this IP??
