I just want to know why I was banned. I don't think I did anything wrong, I just got banned out of nowhere....

Please state where you were banned (the classic server or the SMP server) as well as your in game name.

It makes it easier and helps mods/ops find out about your ban ;).

What's a grief trap? A house built with diamonds that's unprotected? What's the use of Protection if people get banned for griefing? I thought that if something wasn't protected, it was fair game.... lesson learned.

I'm sorta new to minecraft in general, so I always skip stuff like that, lol. I just recently learned what griefing is, and have already committed my first offence. lol

I still wanna know why I should spend money Protection if people will get banned for greifing me....

Because then there is less hassle for Mods+.
