Title: Sign Shop mod
Post by: TheFulcan on April 15, 2012, 06:25:16 am
Sign shop mod allows a player to place a sign and stock it with items. . any other player can then buy those items simply by clicking the sign similar to the market signs we have only for public shops. . My old server had this mod and i worked extremely well.

I think the chest shop plugin might be better suited but you're idea is also pretty good.

Folks that would be really good idea....just many stores uses other players as shopkeepers for what they got paid, and as i try to post something similiar in the past i found out that this topic was mentioned many times for this server and there was always same answer
This has, indeed, been suggested multiple times-- each with a same or similar decision.

The reason why we don't want to add too many plugins to the server is because many of them are fairly heavy-duty-- that constitutes to more sophistication and lots of configuration, which would equate to more lag.

I posted a post about this for chests just a little while ago, It's name is Suggestion for Shops. Apparently they don't want to add this because this is a survival server and they don't want to make it easy for people to own shops. :P I agree with you that this would be awesome, but apparently optical doesn't. :'(
