Title: Graphical glitches being confused for X-Ray mod
Post by: bigbeno37 on April 21, 2012, 05:13:27 am
Hey there!

I was playing on the server and a random thought went into my head; could a graphical glitch (A.K.A chunk error) be mistaken for a person using the X-Ray mod, and if so, would they be re-allowed back on OptiCraft?

Just an interesting topic I had in my mind at this time

I would think no, because xrayers can continue to see and most times they're holes lead directly to things and avoid lava and such. The graphical errors tend to be corrected by getting closer to them, so it'd kinda hard to figure out exactly where u seem that diamond from 60 blocks away. Plus if you're a super awesome goody two shoes you won't be trying to peek lol

So, in that case then, Moderators and above can only find out about people using XRay via seeing who dug those holes?

I get graphical glitches all the time, but it is IMPOSSIBLE to use them most of the time.

As you get closer, the glitches tend to fix themselves. No problem there.
