Title: How to connect to the sever?

Im completely new to mine craft private severs. i have verison 1.2.5 but when i enter the IP it tells me i have a bad login.

Help! am i missing somthing?

Chances are iits a cracked version of MC, to play on smp you need to purchase a legit copy
