That's not an Operators job, as they don't actually have access to the map files.
Only Optical does.

We don't have access to the Maps. You can view the world by viewing the Live Map.

Only Optical has direct access to the map files.

Maybe he wants to play the map in single players.
Is there any other reason asking for the files?

I would say the reason he is asking for the map, is so he can find slime chunks ect.
 Also he would be able to switch to creative and find things easier than most then find them in MP.

So in short I can't see you getting the map.

He could also use the map to pinpoint diamonds and other stuff.

Yeah, he can look for the seed when playing on sp with that map and we can find all the slime chunks.

I personally world like to play the map on single player. And I have NO INTEREST in cheating on the map. Because if I did want to cheat for finding slimes or diamonds and other ores, dont you think I would just install like a mini map or x-ray mod.

True, but maybe you like the server and don't want to get caught. (?)

Well, i like the server and like the players on it.
Say if i did get the world files, and found the slime chucks and diamond loctions, and then went on to the server and started mining them up dont you think it be a bit strange that i would find the blocks without searching

Not to be offensive, but just because you say that you aren't going to cheat if you get the world files, which is HIGHLY UNLIKELY, we can't just assume that you won't. What if you give the files to another player who wants to cheat? Overall, Optical will probably never release the files so it doesn't really matter how the point is argued.

bantam2 I agree with you. But dont you think if I am going to cheat I would use a mod. It would be a lot easyer then debating about if I can get the world files. And if i gave it to someone else the samething applys, that it would be easyer to use a mod.
