When does the live map refresh?

The texture pack for the live map doesn't accommodate for the new wood textures, and leaf ones. (or so i have deduced)

I dont think it does update because i can see stuff from 3 days ago that have been changed

I know it updates but it hasn't been as frequently as it was before.

It was because of the version of the google maps used in the live map feature. It is fixed now but now, the refresh time is too late.

PS: if you use an older texture pack then your mine craft's version, the new blocks will be pink just like on the live map.

If you're using an outdated texture pack in-game the new items will appear "weird" in-game.  Sometimes pink blocks, sometimes orange, etc...

I think what people are actually referring to is the MAP.  The pink blocks on the map are items that aren't yet included in the map's texture pack.  The new wood, for example.

Ya but it works know for the map. I don't use a texture pack so I'm fine.

The Live Map hasn't been updating for nearlly 4 days now...On a side note the textures have been fixed and the purble (or pink) textures are now gone...I hope the Live Maps not broken  :'(
