Hi guys,

There is this guy the_legeond who built his house in the city of cornerstone WITHOUT permission and griefed the place. I'm ok with that. We told him that we are going to demolish his house because we don't want griefers here. We demolished the house, he pissed of and then griefed our buildings. Screenshot:

Can you please ban him if he isn't already? Thanks.

That in my opinion, was your mistake.
You should have called a MOD+. No, just to grief others' buildings because you got the half map.

ive removed his house too.

the things are:
today in the morning i see the griefing things. missmedu come and fix the problem and told me who did it.
those the_legeond player was warnned by some signs which i put them in the front of his house.
i also told missmedu that we gonna demolish his building after his arrival.
so, when today in the evening this kid logged in, obviously he saw the signs, and he neglected them, more then that, he destroyed them.

he came on our town and didnt ask for permission, didnt fill any aplication form for being there on our forum thread. that doesnt matter for me at the first, as im a nice person who wants to let everyone to play. but when ive saw the griefing - he also griefed a players house at least 20-25% of it, and chop some trees in the park (even we have a middle tree farm), sorry, but i wont let any griefers around me.

half a map or not, every city has aplication forms, so do ours. why didnt he fill any?
you spamarian will accept a player who doesnt fill one? i do, but with no griefing.

at the last, he asked me to stay there. why then? i speak to him nicely, he didnt respond at all, so why would he stay?
we told him to move and he didnt do it. so we ve started to demolish his building.

i disagree in this one circumstance.

if it's their town, it's their responsibility to manage it. calling a mod over to remove it is fine, but that's putting unnecessary work on the mods. if they truly did not have permission to build in the town, then i see no problem with the town owners removing the building. of course, the people who tear it down should always have a word with the person who created it first, if possible.

For those reading, I just wanted to hi-light this part of the quote.  This is NOT an official "Ok" to run around demolishing buildings that you claim are inside your city.  If you can't work things out with the building owner then I would still call over a mod to solve the dispute and get an Ok before you rip the building down.

viper, i wont call a mod just for a thing like this.
we didnt break any block until the owner logged in. when i saw him, ive tried to speak with him. even he was in front of me he didnt reply anything. ive asked him to remove his building and go out there as we dont need griefers in the area. he didnt do that.
why should i call a mod? just to say to another kid to leave from a place? sorry, i wont do that.
and anyway, a mod already know that, it was missmedu who helped me with restoring the griefed things.
i think ive explained already all that was happend.

You should, at minimum, inform a mod so they know what's going on.  Otherwise a mod who doesn't know your city, like myself, might get called over by the_legeond, verify that you did in-fact destroy his building, undo the "griefing", and then ban YOU for griefing because they didn't know any different.

Next time it might be better to error on the side of caution and inform someone what you're doing rather than risk an accidental banning.  You don't have to ask them over to remove the building, just let them know what's going on BEFORE you take action.
