Psyko if you're considering using them- don't. Wait till you're older (unless theres something i missed and you're actually like 25), you'll meet someone in uni/college.

Yes, indeed. These sites are very stupid.
Are you so "thursty" for a relationship?

Yeah, I think you'd have to be at least 18 years old to be able to use dating sites...

Also, you'd have to come up with the income to afford something like that. because they don't give you the option in the payment packages to pay by month. You have to pay the full price to get those "3-month, 6-month, 12-month, whatever-month" packages.

Unless you're planning on using a free one like okcupid for trolling/curiosity I wouldn't recommend it. When you're all finished with education and you still ain't got yourself some poomtang, then maybe it might be worth looking into if you're looking to meet new people.

Not at all being in any form racist, it's not intended, nor should it be interpreted that way, merely a dating site. ( no, seriously )

I don't trust online dating websites. It's really easy for someone to make themselves appear to be someone you'd like. Plus you'd have to consider the kind of people that use them.

I agree.
I just tried to log in on a dating site that someone mentioned before, to see what it is, and it asked my information to be distributed without encryption. I denied, and I closed the site.
What a crap!

Has anyone here ever been on singlemuslim.com? If you cycle through the profile info on each woman they all start off with "Our daughter would like to meet...".

If they weren't already, they became jokes. What with people making accounts like "HungLikeJesus"

Yup, Let's keep Discussions of Race, Politics, and creed out Opticraft.
On the side note.

I assume that dating people over the internet isn't the same as dating someone in real life, as it would eliminate the physical element of it, such as smells, or little details about the person that you may not like. You also have body language which is very important.

Real social life isn't the same as socializing over the internet. Unless the dating site actually gets you to meet someone rather close to you :P

But anyways, Don't take my advice as a good one. It's merely a speculation. I have no experience in this what so ever ^^

Other than that, I still think you're too young for dating :P

I read it in an article like 2 years ago, at my physiologist's office.

According to that article, people find the 'right one' by smelling a unique scent in the other person. It's basically like how animals smell each other's anal glands. except I don't know how this works.

Probably offtopic, but how do I stop getting spam e-mails from them? It's getting on my nerves..

There must be a profile somewhere, and there must be an option for email notifcations. If not, just mark it as spam. I don't use email anyways, so I'm never bothered.
