No, you don't apply for trusted. You just get it. While we are here, I will provide a very detailed description of earning that rank.
Be a nice person. You don't necessarily have to be helpful, and try not to get banned. Do not ask for the rank or any rank other than moderator (which is attained by applying, as you have done). I think a lot of Trusted players can agree with me when I say this:
The Golden Rule to earn the Trusted rank: Don't be bad and be patient.If you follow that rule, it really should just come to you with time. It took me six months even with no bans (my ban record lies, that one was a mistake ban).
