are you allowed to afk iron farm

Hi i was wondering if anyone new the rules on being afk cos i do not now if you are allowed to be afk in what situations like

iron farming
auto cactus farming
auto suger cane farming
gold farming
xp grinding/ wait for mob to collect

If anyone knows the rules on this please let me know and tell e what you can and cannot afk for
