Redstone not working
« on: August 27, 2012, 07:20:56 am »
So, I decided to finish my redstone thing, but it is not working. There are no torches or any inputs of any sort that would keep it on, yet it is on.

If anyone knows anything about it, it would be great to know, as I want to keep on working  :)

Note: It was working perfectly fine yesterday, and it also works ok in single player

By the looks of things you're trying to power all 4 (pistons?) at once from underneath?
What you've done here is created a loop, I'd have to get in-game to see exactly how to fix it.

Ok  :P
I could add a monostable circut? They always help  ;)
Also, my T-Flip Flop didn't work. I suspect that's part of it aswell, since it is joined to the redstone to get to the all four pistons

Thanks for your help  ;D

there's the problem..... u have a block with power going into it and redstone going alongside the powered block. That creates a loop. to solve the problem either
A: switch the 2 pieces of redstone next to the 2 powered blocks to repeaters (requires 2 more repeaters), or
B: move the 2 pieces of redstone at least one block away from the powered blocks (requires 2 more pieces of redstone).

if u can destroy the block of dirt on the left next to the redstone go with option B as it's more cost efficient, if space is an issue however u need to use option A
