Sorry for 2x post, this is a bump.
As you can see, people have been leaving. This is NOT, i assure you, NOT the end. It has happened before. It is simply opening a hole. A hole for the next generation to sweep us off of our feet. Dont wworry.

This is somewhat true, but a lot of people are leaving because our server doesn't have what other servers have to offer. (PvP, Creative) and also minecraft is getting old.

People come and go in every generation. It is a natural flow of life. The older generations are forever remembered in history. The next generations come to make their mark, hoping to one day surpass their predecessor's accomplishments and leave a great legacy. And I think in most cases on Opticraft, they do.

In the words of the great poet Robert Frost,

"In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on."

Also, I think if we all stop making a big deal about "people leaving", no one will have reason to "worry". The only reason they would have to worry is because they just read someone saying THAT and pondered the possibility that it really is "the end". Basically telling someone not to do something will have them think/do the opposite.

No offense implied to anyone. Just an opinion.

True. Some generations make their mark. Others, only maybe 1 person became mod. The large difference between classic and smp is since classic doesnt get many guests, they dont have as many leaves. Also, unlike smp there are not as many servers for classic.

Opticraft isnt all about getting mod as many of our members wish to believe. And it is most certainly not the only "mark" i had in mind.

Just being a part of Opticraft is a mark. Participating in Opticraft events is a mark. Having friends that can remember you is a mark.

Achieving a rank is, in my mind, a MINOR mark. Anyone can achieve a rank with enough effort. But can they leave behind a legacy?
