Make TNT usable

I know the topic of this title might be shot down instantly, but hear me out:

If there was a way to make it so that TNT only destroyed your own blocks/unowned blocks, as well as unable to hurt anyone, would that make it so that TNT could be enabled on this server?

Possibly could have it so that only trusted could use it as well.

I only ask, as TNT would make digging big holes so much easier.

I really like this idea, or if this was to big an ask, maybe you could be able to ask a mod/op to place it like they do with lava so they can check the area first

It's more trouble than it's worth, just think about what you said and think about the mess that could be made. Some people even use the landscape as their houses so it would mess that up too, not only this, but it would leave no logblock information.

I like the idea. In response to TNT grief you could have /tntundo 50, and it would undo the TNT explosion in a radius of 50 blocks. I would love TNT to be implemented

After all, gunpowder isn't exactly common, so you wouldn't even get that much TNT crafted.

maybe to reduce lag there would be a cap of 15 live tnt per chunk at one time? also frobalt tnt would be tracked probably, i know water flow is. Ive seen a mod undo damage from a water flow, ie replacing torches and grass and stuff

I'm thinking what if TNT would only work if it was under a protected area of yours (PS Stone area).

I also don't find it necessary to add TNT, but if it WOULD happen, that's how I think it should work.

But that wasn't the OP's suggestion. People want TNT for it's main use; clearing blocks. Using it to kill mobs is silly.

I'd say, at the very least, it could be used to destroy blocks that you have placed yourself. Will at least make it quicker to demolish unwanted structures of your own anyway.

But ideally I'd like to be able to use it to clear land. Although would make it more risky to have underground bases I s'pose :S
